A much needed four-day weekend is finally here.
Getting back to in-person learning has dominated my work life for the past couple of months and I'm ready for a break.
Dale and I had intended to go up to Madeline Island this weekend so he could attend to some work issues but we're concerned Athena may have a bladder infection so we've decided to stay in town. Dale will probably make the trip on his own and just do an overnight sometime this coming week.
Usually the leaves are down by Halloween but due to the drought and climate change the process seems to be moving a little slower than usual this year. There are exceptions but the colors don't deem as brilliant as last year and very few leaves have even fallen yet.
