Another Pumpkin

Picked up another pumpkin at Lund's. Dale doesn't like these lumpy ones. He thinks they look diseased.

Sylvester doesn't seem to mind them.

I like the variety of shapes and colors.

We picked up a decorative pumpkin at Lund's today. Christine checked us out and it rang up as a "warty" pumpkin.

Pumpkins, Cigars, and More

Picked up a couple carving pumpkins at Lund's.

Cigar in the backyard. 

Cocktail too. 

Bought a book of scary stories at the bookstore today while out and about shopping with Noel. The first story in the collection is The Judge's House by Bram Stoker - one of my favorites. 

Also listened to some music. 

Dale picked up half a pumpkin pie for dinner. 

Trip to Bachman's and a Little Walking

Outing to Starbucks and then Bachman's this afternoon. On the way there I stopped by the house where Becky and the boys lived while Sam was overseas. 

Took a little walk around their old neighborhood. I remember Dale and I going trick or treating with the boys many Halloweens ago. It was the late aughts, maybe 2010. 

It was nostalgic to take the route we took trick-or- treating way back then. I remember how magical it felt at the time. The boys were so exited. 

I also stopped by the apartment building my friend Sharon lived in back when we were in high school. 

She passed away a number of years ago, probably around the time Becky and the boys were here. 

Headed over to Starbucks to get some coffee...

And then walked around a little more. 

Next stop Bachman's.

They didn't have nearly as many pumpkins out as I thought they would. 

Picked up a couple of specialty pumpkins. 

I think they'll look nice on the front stoop.
