Noel and I went to Heather's a couple days ago and I was pleased to see that pumpkin pancakes had made it back onto the menu. They were delicious.
There's a house one street over and one block up that has a few plastic skulls placed on their lawn. This small one isn't fixed in the ground very well and keeps rolling down the yard's incline onto the sidewalk. I've picked it up and put it back a few times now. I'm loving my fall walks and really appreciating being able to take them during the daytime due to NOT WORKING.
My collection of real pumpkins continues to grow. I got this lumpy one at Lund's the other day. It measures about 7-8 inches across at its widest.
Dale had a vestry meeting tonight so I indulged in a couple cigars. The first was a Camacho which is one of my most favorite.
Found a Halloween playlist on Apple Music recently. The selections skew older in terms of when they were recorded. Includes 51 songs.
Found another playlist for tonight. This was more of an eclectic mix combining older and newer stuff. It's quite extensive as it includes 97 selections. I quite enjoyed this one as well.
It's starting to look and feel a lot more like October. When I stepped outside for my cigar it was cool but not uncomfortably so. My hoodie and leather jacket kept me quite comfortable. Also, I'm seeing more leaves on the ground. Nothing compared to the onslaught we're gonna get but noticeable enough.
