Wrapples

Kraft Wrapples. Saw the above image on an Instagram account I follow and it brought back memories. 

Mom helped us make these as kids. Wrapples were a novelty and you didn't have to melt caramels in a saucepan. You simply wrapped sheets of Wrapples around some apples, stuck popsicle sticks in them, then put 'em on a cookie sheet, and popped them in the oven. 

Couldn't find much on the web about Wrapples although I think they were a 70s and 80s thing. They're available again through a company called Concord Foods. 

It'd be fun to try making these again for nostalgia's sake but I think it's easier to buy an already made caramel apple from Kowalski's
