I enjoy early October and love seeing how much changes by the end of the month. Flowers are still in bloom.
Not many leaves have fallen yet.
Mike and I had our high school reunion this past Saturday night and we had cocktails beforehand at his place. He and Charisse love the fall and Charisse has the house decked out in Halloween tchotchkes.
We listened to George Winston's Autumn before heading to the gathering.
After the reunion we stopped back at Mike's and headed to his Blue Room to process the evening.
And process we did.
We had a gorgeous fall day on Sunday. I took a walk downtown after church to take it all in.
Sunday afternoon was perfect for a cigar in the back yard.
