I never seem to have time to watch full movies. With the day off from school I decided to pull out my old Wolfman DVD. Watched the original with Lon Chaney Jr. whose sympathetic portrayal of a most tortured soul is quite touching and relatable.
Also watched one of the sequels, Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman. Not as good as the original but still quite fun.
Bela Legosi is in both pictures. In The Wolfman (1941) he plays a character named Bela, a Romani fortune teller.
In Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman he plays Frankenstein's monster.
Bela Lugosi's was born today, October 20, 1882. That's 140 years ago.
