Halloween 2017 - Red Stag Supper Club

I think I make a lovely bride.

Left work ASAP to get home and get Halloween started. I planned on handing out candy tonight. I lost my resolve. Dale was going to work out after work. He lost his resolve. We took some Halloween themed selfies and then decided to go to Red Stag for dinner...

Red Stag makes the best Old-Fashioned I've ever had. 

I started with an Old-Fashioned with brandy. Dale went with wine. Dale started with a Caesar salad and I opted for the cream of parsnip soup. We both order the beef stroganoff for our main courses. All of it was divine. DIVINE I TELL YOU!!! Dale was too full for dessert. I was delighted to see Red Stag added ice cream drinks to their menu. It's a supper club staple. I asked for the pink squirrel. Also divine. In fact, it's the best pink squirrel I've EVER had and I know from pink squirrels. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. Not sure if it was a Halloween thing. Tuesday is their date night so that may have been part of it. 

And now Red Stag makes the best pink squirrel I've ever had.

Although dinner wasn't an official Halloween event, the food was so spectacular that it made for a wonderful Halloween.
